  • Gives control to someone else.

Steward

  • Takes control.
  • Gets involve
  • Takes action.
  • Serves others.
  • Today I challenge each person on dialysis or is close to someone who is that you become a steward and not a victim.

How can you become a steward?

  • Get information on your illness.
  • Follow the instructions of your health care professionals.
  • Become active with others who share your condition
  • Be of assistance to others with your condition
  • Educate others about your condition.
  • Show those who you care about how to avoid your condition.
  • Pray about your condition. You may want to pray not only for healing but also for coping capabilities.
  • Consider what your situation would be without dialysis or you having to pay for it.
  • Give thanks for the dialysis solution.

Results of being a steward.

  • God will bless you as you serves others.
  • Reduce your depression as you focus on others.
  • A feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment.
  • Being mentally and physically active redounds to improved healthy conditions.
  • You will feel more of a team than an individual.
